What is RSS?
RSS, sometimes known as Really Simple Syndication, is a popular means of sharing content (such as news headlines) without requiring you to constantly visit a Web site to see what's new. RSS feeds contain headlines and hyperlinks to longer articles or Web pages.

How can I receive RSS feeds?
Desktop software applications known as news readers or aggregators can collect, update and display breaking news headlines from a wide variety of sources like BidClerk, CNN and USATODAY. A number of news readers are available for you to download, many at no cost. Other versions are Web and browser-based. News readers vary slightly in how they look and act, so you may find yourself testing several before settling on one. Google lists a number of news aggregators that you can download and test in this List of News Aggregators.
The favorite RSS reader of BidClerk's staff is the IntraVnews™ RSS news reader. You can download this reader for free at www.IntraVnews.com. This particular reader integrates tightly with Microsoft Outlook so you can "pull" BidClerk's Bid Alerts directly from our site right into your Outlook mail folder within minutes of them being posted to our site instead of waiting to receive them via email on a weekly basis.

What RSS feeds are available from BidClerk?
BidClerk's Bid Alerts RSS feeds are based on the construction leads published to our main Web site and they're updated throughout the day. To subscribe to the Bid Alerts RSS feeds simply use the tool at the bottom of the bid alerts page to generate a link that you will input into your RSS news reader. You can repeat the process to add as many feeds as you like.
