Generally speaking, concrete is a material made from cement, aggregate (usually gravel and sand), water and admixtures. Brick can be created from a number of different materials that usually play a factor in price. Common brick is a block of ceramic material used in masonry, laid by hand and bound by mortar. Natural stone bricks, often made from granite, limestone, sandstone, marble, slate or quartzite allow for a particularly more elegant look. However, such stone brick is predominantly local to the regions where the materials are available.
